I hope you don’t feel a little cheated by the headline. I understand casual doesn’t mean only getting half dressed. And I was intending a full outfit post showing a more casual outfit but all I ended up with were blurry shots . But then I saw this photo (I just love these sparkly flats too much) and knew I had to include it. Somehow. Perhaps by distracting you with a boring story about blurry photos
Hope your week is off to a great start.

I had a great time at Fashfest on Saturday. The atmosphere was electric and it was so wonderful to see such a stylish crowd congregate to watch up-and-coming designers showcase their stuff.
So fun catching up with fellow blogger ladies Rose, Zoe and Megan (thanks for helping with the photos Megan).
And I’m glad I wore my faux fur – it was so cold! I wore if over my Cue LBD, with Zomp red heels and Sportsgirl stud clutch.

I’m off to Fashfest this Saturday night. While the action will be on the runway for me I’m always just as interested in what people are wearing off the runway. Such an event usually attracts a stylish crowd so it’s great people watching. It can also be a little intimidating knowing what to wear. I think the key is not to try too hard or be something that you’re not – just be the best version of you. It’s also a great chance to show off something new or treasured.
Me? I’m actually glad it’s going to be cold so I can debut my new love.
Isn’t she a beauty? I’m thinking either belted over white jeans with red heels or over a full-skirted LBD. With something this fabulous I plan to keep the rest of the outfit fairly classic. But still a bit fierce. I’ll take some snaps of the final ensemble.
Enjoy the rest of your week lovelies.
Wearing: Witchery jacket and bag, Old Navy Tee, countryroad skirt, Wittner heels, Sportsgirl sunglasses.
Remember this skirt? It’s certainly getting a workout. For this ensemble I wore it with a casual military jacket and simple white tee to tone down the sequins for Sunday brunch. Yes I was still way over dressed (story of my life).
Have you got anything on-repeat in your wardrobe?

2. This bronze palette is gorgeous and such good value. Now that’s a Benefit
3. Love this against an all black outfit. It’s also pretty special with navy and grey.
4. A total luxe bag and investment buy but I cannot stopping thinking about this satchel.
5. Totally flattering and a little badass.
6. I love Winter hats and there is shape that suits everyone. This fedora is all age appropriate. Bless.

I adore this time of year. I reckon Autumn is on par with Spring as my favourite season. I’m so grateful to leave in a place where you really experience the seasons. I love the clear, crisp days and beautiful surroundings that are beginning to change colour. It’s also a great time to get dressed. Not too cold that you’re lost in a sea of stockings and scarves but still cool enough to get away with a few more layers and , as I managed to in these shots, a big coat thrown over your shoulders ever so nonchalantly.
Are you enjoying the cool change? What is your fave season to get dressed for?
